Returns and Exchanges Policy

1. Return Eligibility

1.1 Eligible Items

You may return items within 5-6 days of delivery if they meet the following conditions:

Returnable Conditions:

  • If the customer received a defective product/item
  • Customers have to provide a video with 360 degrees view while opening the product package/parcel (unboxing video recording) as proof
  • Original packaging should be intact with shipping labels
  • No signs of wear, damage, or alteration made purposely by the customer
  • Free from stains, odors, or pet hair

1.2 Non-Returnable Items

Non-Returnable:

  • Final sale items (marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable")
  • Items returned after 6 days
  • Items without proof of purchase
  • Items damaged due to misuse or negligence

2. How to Initiate a Return

Follow these steps to return an item:

  1. Contact Us:

    • Email: returns@banawatbyamayra.com within 6 days of delivery
    • Subject: "Return Request - Order #[Your Order Number]"
    • Include: Order number, item(s) to return, reason for return
  2. Wait for Approval:

    • We will review your request within 24-48 hours
    • You will receive return instructions and a return authorization number
  3. Pack Your Item:

    • Place the item in its original packaging with tags attached
    • Include the original invoice or packing slip
    • Write the return authorization number on the package
  4. Ship the Item:

    • Ship the package to the address provided in the return instructions
    • We recommend using a tracked shipping service
    • Keep your shipping receipt until the return is processed

3. Return Shipping Costs

3.1 Customer-Initiated Returns

If you change your mind or the item doesn't fit:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend insured, trackable shipping
  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit

3.2 Our Error or Defective Items

If we sent the wrong item or the item is defective:

  • We cover all return shipping costs
  • Contact us immediately for a prepaid return label
  • We will provide a full refund or replacement

4. Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

  1. Return the unwanted item following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired item
  3. Once your return is processed, you will receive a refund
  4. New orders are subject to current pricing and availability

Note: To ensure you get your preferred size or color, we recommend placing a new order before returning the original item.

5. International Returns

International returns follow the same eligibility criteria as domestic returns, but:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs and customs fees
  • We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service
  • Processing time may be longer due to international shipping

Refunds Policy

1. Refund Processing

1.1 Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is approved
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

1.2 Refund Timeline

Note: Refund timeline depends on your bank or payment provider. Please contact them if you don't see the refund after the stated timeframe.

2. Refund Amount

2.1 Full Refund

You will receive a full refund if:

  • The item is returned within 5 days in eligible condition
  • We sent the wrong item
  • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • The order was cancelled before shipping
  • Unboxing video(360 degrees) recording of the package/parcel provided by the customer as proof

2.2 Partial Refund

A partial refund may be issued if:

  • The item shows signs of use or wear
  • Tags or packaging are missing or damaged
  • The item is returned after 5 days, but within 6 days

2.3 No Refund

No refund will be provided if:

  • The item is returned after 6 days
  • The item is non-returnable (see Section 1.2)
  • The item is damaged due to misuse
  • There is no proof of purchase
  • Not providing the unboxing video(360 degrees) recording of the package/parcel as proof

3. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the error was ours)
  • If you received free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility (unless the error was ours)

4. Order Cancellations

4.1 Before Shipping

If you want to cancel your order before it ships:

  • Contact us immediately at support@banawatbyamayra.com
  • If the order hasn't been processed, we will cancel it and issue a full refund
  • If the order is already processed, you may need to return it after delivery

4.2 After Shipping

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You must:

  • Wait for delivery
  • Refuse the package (it will be returned to us)
  • Or receive it and initiate a return

6. Wrong Item Received

Customer needs to provide a video recording as proof -

  1. Unboxing video(360 degrees) recording of the package/parcel provided by the customer as proof
  2. We will provide a prepaid return label
  3. We will ship the correct item at no additional cost
  4. Or provide a full refund if the correct item is unavailable

7. Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund:

  • Store credit can be used for future purchases
  • Store credit does not expire
  • To request store credit, mention it when initiating your return

General Information

1. Proof of Purchase

A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns and refunds:

  • Order confirmation email
  • Invoice or packing slip
  • Order number

2. Inspection

All returned items are inspected upon receipt. We reserve the right to:

  • Reject returns that don't meet eligibility criteria
  • Issue partial refunds for items with signs of use
  • Refuse returns of non-returnable items

3. Sale and Clearance Items

  • Sale items are returnable unless marked as "Final Sale."
  • Clearance items may have different return policies (specified at purchase)
  • Promotional items may not be eligible for return

4. Quality Assurance

We strive to ensure all products meet our quality standards. However, slight variations in:

  • Color (due to screen settings)
  • Fabric texture
  • Stitching details

are normal and not considered defects.

5. Refund Exceptions

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind after 6 days
  • Items worn, washed, or altered
  • Items damaged by the customer
  • Lost return packages (without tracking)

6. Fraudulent Returns

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse returns from customers with a history of excessive or fraudulent returns
  • Take legal action for fraudulent return activity
  • Ban accounts engaged in return abuse
